1955 Pontiac Star Chief Catalina 2-dr Hardtop. Top of the line car from the US. Arizona car and very straight with nice paint and great chrome! No patch panels were used on the restoration; it was rust free to begin with. The classic waterfall pieces on the hood and tail fins are iconic Pontiac! Spotlights are nonfunctional, but there for style. The sun visor is a highly sought after accessory and is painted to match the silver top of the car. A very rare option is also featured on the hood ornament! The Chief Pontiac amber colored head actually lights up when the parking lights are turned on! Solid chrome wheels with moon hubcaps give the car a bit of a hot rod look. The continental kit features a full-size spare tire and is painted to match the car. If you wanted the car to look even lower and longer than it already is, a set of stainless-steel fender skirts are in the trunk and match the lower stainless quarter trim on the car. The interior is a very nice place and well restored with new upholstery, carpets door panels, headliner and well restored dashboard. The interior is mostly stock apart from the stacked center console which houses a new radio. Under the hood has a few modifications. In place of the Pontiac power plant is now a Chev 350 with lots of Edelbrock accessories, four-barrel carb and backed by a 3-speed automatic. Power steering makes driving easy and powered disc brakes have the car driving a little more like a modern-day ride. Quad horns create quite the presence! Lots of nice paint and lots of chrome under the hood too! Trunk is stock. Very nice cruiser, and unique car you don’t see often, especially in Canada. Car shows 90,000 miles and although it’s probably correct for the body, with an engine swap and 5 digit odometer, true milage is unknown.
