2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 2LZ. All black with aftermarket gloss blacked out wheels looks killer with the big red brake calipers! Those are 6-piston calipers with 4-piston units out back with cross drilled rotors all the way around! It’s all meant to be track focused and handle the speed and power from the 7.0-liter LS7 that makes 505 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque! In the Z06 it all routes through a 6-speed manual, the only available transmission. 0-60 goes by in less than 4.0 seconds! Unlike the base C6 corvette, the Z06 is very special with a hydroformed aluminum frame with magnesium front subframe and carbon-fiber front fenders, wheel housings and balsa wood composite floors to greatly reduce weight to just 3100 lbs! The car has a wider front and rear fenders compared to the rest of the line as well along with a functional cold air scoop in the hood. In the 2LZ package, you’ll find a Bose 7-speaker premium audio system, heated seats, power telescopic steering wheel, side impact air bags and driver seat memory. This car was also optioned with DVD navigation. Wearing all black, this is quite the unit. Paint is still nice for the age of the car and the interior shows virtually no wear and tear. Leather is in good shape and looks good with red contrast stitching. Heads up display is pretty neat too. Dual zone climate control means the passenger is fighting with the driver over the temperature! The rear trunk area has a cloth cargo cover and the battery is located under the rear for weight distribution. Very special car and very fun to drive. Still in nice condition with no major condition issues and good glass. Very much stock which is nice that no one has messed with it! Just 44,000 kms on the odometer.
