1973 Mercedes-Benz

1973 Mercedes-Benz 450 SL Convertible. Nice survivor car. Gold paint is said to be factory original and shows very well. Still very glossy and basically flawless with no corrosion anywhere. Highly optioned car with A/C, cruise control, power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes, power windows, power locks, fog lights and both cloth and matching hard top included. Still has original leather seats (with a few flaws). 4.5-liter Mercedes V8 with Bosch electronic fuel injection made 190 hp when new and backed by a 4-speed automatic. Runs fantastically and drives very well. Sails up to highway speeds without a fuss at all and is still incredibly smooth. Car was imported from California to Canada in 2013 and underwent a tune up and full inspection then. Has driven very little since being imported. Said to have approximately 125, xxx miles on it, but original speedometer failed (still included) and was replaced with a GPS aftermarket unit. Historic documents, original owner's manual, factory build sheet, receipts and a display board all come with the car. Rare to have one factory equipped with matching gold BBS wheels. Nice driving car to enjoy the sunshine!
