1966 Fury Wagon

1966 Plymouth Fury III Station Wagon. Hard to find a family car that has survived as well as this one. Mostly original paint, however, there have been some minor touch ups along the fenders and rocker panels over the years. Overall, still in nice condition. All of the trim and roof rack are still there! Rear power window works too! Only a 2-row wagon, no 3rd row of seats, but it’s clear this one wasn’t used for much hauling as the rear luggage compartment interior panels look like new. Still features original upholstery and head liner that are in excellent condition. New carpets installed at some point. The car originates from Edmonton when new, but at some point, in it’s life made it to Blaine Lake SK, where it was most recently found sitting. Judging by condition, it would have been inside for that long term storage. After being brought out of it’s nap, the original 318 was overheating, smoking and just generally tired. Another period correct 318 was sourced from a truck, repainted/resealed and installed up against the original automatic. A new aluminum rad will ensure this one won’t overheat. Recent brake work, and in generally good working order. Power steering and power brakes car. Needs a gas gauge, and that’s about it. Door shut like its brand new! Still very solid, with the underside in good condition.  Won’t win any beauty contests or races but will be a blast to drive with the entire family onboard for a Sunday cruise
