2023 Dodge Challenger R/T 392 Scat Pack, Widebody – Shakedown, Last call edition. It’s a mouthful, but this is one special Challenger. Every 2023 is specially badged a Last Call, being the last year the Challenger of this generation was produced. The 6.4-liter Hemi V8 makes 485 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission in this case. What makes this car truly special is the fact that it’s a Shakedown Edition. Only 1000 were produced, but of that, 500 were Destroyer Grey with the standard body, and the other 500 like this one were wide-bodied and came in Pitch Black with the decal and stripe package you see here along with factory installed hood pins, competition suspension with stiffer springs, larger anti-roll bars and programable adaptive suspension. That makes this car at least one of 500, but it get’s better. Also added to the build sheet of this car is the Dynamics package with the 6-piston red Brembo brakes that are standard on the Hellcat, along with a flat-bottom leather wrapped steering wheel. The Plus equipment group was added bringing contrast stitched upholstery, Nappa leather and Alcantara seats that are ventilated and heated, driver’s seat memory, ambient lighting and premium floor mats. The Carbon and Suede Package bring real carbon fiber trim and a Dinamica suede headliner to mix. The only optional package missing from the car was the technology group with rain sensing wipers, automatic high beams, auto emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. That all said, the car is more likely around 1 of 145 equipped this way. This is one of those cars that can be enjoyed, or savored as it will certainly appreciate in value as the years go on, thanks to it’s unique options, and overall rarity! With only 18,000 kms, it’s certainly still collectable. The factory black 20” wheels are still available with the car, but currently, the set of chrome wheels you see in the pictures are on the car. The condition is absolutely excellent. There’s virtually no wear and tear anywhere on the car. The seats and upholstery are still perfect, even the floor mats look like they’ve never been stepped on. With a full load of tech, a killer Harmon/Kardon factory sound system and driving dynamics that are hard to beat, this is the ultimate North American grand touring car!
