2016 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1LT Coupe. Beautiful low km example painted Long Beach red metallic and in excellent condition. The car was bought new at Sherwood Park Chevrolet in Alberta and looks to have been very well cared for. The paint is next to flawless, and the silver wheels have never bumped a curb, they’re basically perfect. The 1LT is considered the entry level Corvette, but it’s far from basic. Still all the usual amenities like power windows, power locks, remote keyless entry with push button start, dual zone automatic climate control and A/C, auto tint rear view mirror, and a Bose stereo system with touch-screen infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are still part of the system as well.  It also has dual powered leather trimmed front seats (no memory), but on this trim level they’re not heated. Not much of a big deal for a car that’s mostly driven in the warm weather. The switchable driving modes with automatic electronic exhaust modes are still found on the LT1 and this car was optioned with both removable roofs – the semi-transparent and the solid color matched one, which is currently stowed in the rear trunk with protective cover.  The interior is nice and clean and shows no signs of wear. That’s what you’d expect for a car with only 22,000 kms on it in 10 years! That works out to just a few thousand kms per year of cruising. The condition of the exterior also reflects the low milage, with no rock chips to speak of. The front of the car also was given the pant protection film treatment on the front nose, lower hood and sections of the front fenders. Even so, a previous owner ordered a custom fit “bra” for the car in matching maroon vinyl. We haven’t seen a bra on a car in a few decades, and certainly never on a C7 Vette, but it comes with the car nonetheless. The Chevrolet factory car cover also is included for storage. An aftermarket rear back up sensor kit is currently on the car, but it’s easily removable. The car has a factory reverse camera as well. The owner’s manual package is in the glove box. Under the hood is the 6.2-liter LT1 V8 making 455 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque which blasts the car to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. Behdin that is an 8-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Despite being 10 years old, there isn’t much around that can give you the thrills a corvette can, especially for the price. Great bang for the buck with performance, technology, drivability and comfort all packed into a car that isn’t super expensive to service, or hard to find parts for. And in this case, it’s also in fantastic, almost-new condition with low kms!
