2001 Porsche 911 (996) Turbo in speed yellow – One of the wildest cars we’ve ever had here at the dealership. Rod says this is one of the very few cars he’s driven that actually scared him! Not your run of the mill 911 Turbo, which is hardly a pedestrian car to start with. Extensive performance upgrades and body kit bring this 911 to an all-new level. This is an EVO Motorsports GT660 package meaning the way the Mesger 3.6-liter twin turbo flat six is set up, it now makes 660 hp! Stock this car was 415 hp, so that’s a crazy bump up! It all routes through a Tip-Tronic 5-speed automatic transmission and All-Wheel-Drive, meaning there’s no messing around here. Lay on the throttle, it hooks up and it’s gone! Performance upgrades include the EVOMS GT660 package, upgraded GT28 style turbocharges with upgraded wastegates, GT2 intercoolers, Custom EVOMS ECU calibration, GMG Racing WC-GT exhaust with 997 GT-2 style tips, EVO MS headers, V-flow intake with Hitachi MAF conversion, upgraded boost hoses, diverter valves and fueling components. This all results in reduced turbo lag and aggressive linear power delivery. The Tech Art Body kit you see includes a Front spoiler II GTS with integrated brake ducts, extended carbon fiber front splitter, side skirts and upgraded rear bumper. The HRE 542R forged wheels are 19x8.5 up front and 19x11.5 out back. All for corners feature H&R Street performance coil overs, Brembo GT 996 Turbo brakes with 6-piston front calipers on front and 4-piston on back. There’s approximately 80% brake pad life left all around. There’s now 132,000 kms on the odometer, but this car started its life in Arizona, then Illinois, then was imported to Alberta in 2007. It’s got a clean car fax with no accidents or insurance claims. To top it all off, it comes with 16 pages of documented service history. Recent work includes Spark plugs replaced, ignition coils replaced, A new battery , fresh oil change, APR air filter installed, APR diverter valves replaced, new check valves and vacuum lines, inner and outer CV boots replaced, Transmission fluid and filter changed, transmission pan gasket is new, front and rear differential fluid change and four new tires! Condition is incredible too for the km’s and age. The paint is flawless, glossy and very nice. Only the black wheels have some minor chipping or rash. The body kit, exhaust and stance are very intimidating, and the pictures don’t do it justice, it looks killer! Interior is also impeccable with almost zero wear and tear anywhere. The matching yellow center console and bucket seat backs are factory. An Aftermarket stereo is in place, with a nicely placed subwoofer behind the rear jump seats and there’s aftermarket AEM air/fuel ratio meters and boost gauge installed. Climate control is fully automated.  A power moon roof was also optioned on this car. The leather seats are very comfortable, and the suede headliner is very tasteful. The owner’s manual package is complete and comes with the car too. Under the frunk, there’s no spare tire, but there is an amplifier and some very neat and tidy wiring. Overall, the cars power to weight ratio makes it a superstar on the road. Very satisfying to drive, and overall, extremely fast and corners like it’s on rails. Porsche has been perfecting the rear engine layout for 70 years and they certainly got it right with this one.
