1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Pro Touring
$ 54,990
1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Pro touring. Wickedly cool modified car that’s nasty enough to tear your face off! Fresh 376 LS3 making 533 hp with and all the performance goodies including Spectre cold air intake, Holley mid mount accessory drive and topped by a 750 cfm Holley Double Pumper with annular booster and electric choke for easy starts. MSD ignition for sure-fire spark and an Aluminum Rad keeps things cool with electric fan. It’s all piped through 2.5” exhaust with black Widow Mufflers. The power plant is backed by a slick-shifting Tremec T56 6-speed with a very close notch shift pattern. Under the car is a Lakewood safety bell housing and Centerforce dual friction clutch. Putting the power to the ground are Detroit Speed rear leaf suspension and stainless body mount kit with a posi 3:73 rear end with Moser axles. There’s a Trick Flow differential cover, Hellwig rear stabilizer bar, and Speedtech tubular control arms up front with QA1 coil-overs with single adjustable shocks on all 4 corners. Bringing all that fury to a stop are huge Baer brakes with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-piston out back. There’s a Baer racing adjustable proportioning valve too. Contacting the road are BF Goodrich G-force Rival S street/track tires mounted to Fikse 3-piece lightweight 18 inch racing wheels. The car looks absolutely deadly with excellent white paint, stripes and a VFN fiberglass hood with Fesler billet hinges. A front wind splitter was also added. Recently the windows have been tinted, completing the look. The interior is just as spectacular as the rest with a fresh redo of most components, mixed with excellent condition original pieces. It’s impossible to tell what’s new and what’s original. Theres Power windows, Tilt steering wheel, working heater but no radio. Cluster has been replaced with an all digital Racepack dash that works flawlessly. This Camaro is one amazing driver with tight steering, a short shifting 6-speed, big power and strong brakes. It’s set up enough to be auto crossed or road raced, but also tame enough to just be one slick city cruiser. Drives and sounds as good as it look. Digital odometer reads19,000 kms since it was built.
