1970 Chevrolet Caprice Custom Coupe. Incredible survivor car wearing factory original paint, factory original upholstery and carpets and even the factory windshield! With an inspection sticker that dates 1970, it proves just how original even the glass is. Sold new at Central Garage in Camrose Alberta and treated like a prince ever since! This is the cleanest and most “new feeling” antique car that we’ve ever had here. Despite being 56 years old, absolutely everything works and feels as if it were a new car. The buttons, switches and even window cranks just feel right – everything is tight! The upholstery is original and wear free… not even a rip or tear! The dash is perfect and all gauges and lights are working. Not a single crack in the steering wheel either. The factory radio works, but a newer unit is hanging below the dash and is wired to the existing factory speakers.  The owner’s manual and a good selection of new old stock parts come with the car. Chrome is perfect, taillight lenses are still glossy, and it’s even wearing all its factory original T3 headlights! The car is absolutely rust free and paint is very nice. Apart from chips on the leading edge of the hood, the paint is terrific. There likely isn’t a nicer one in existence. The underside of the car is just about as nice as the top. It’s clearly been driven but cared for extremely well. Thanks to Canadian documents included, we know this is one loaded car. Under the hood is the high output Turbo Fire 4-bbl 350 V8 making 300 hp. It’s backed by a TH-350 3-speed automatic. The block and valve covers have had some paint touch ups, but its entirely original otherwise. There’s power steering, power brakes with discs up front and drums in the back and dual exhaust right from factory. Options include Deluxe seat belts and shoulder harnesses, tinted glass, front and rear rubber floor mats, door edge chrome moldings, outside remote side mirror, heavy duty front and rear suspension, engine block, white wall tires, wheel trim covers, map lamp on rear view mirror, courtesy lamp on instrument panel and under hood, electric clock, AM pushbutton radio, windshield mounted antenna, auxiliary rear speaker and the lighting group. Factory wheels and wheel covers with Sears whitewall tires are included with the car, but currently it’s wearing a brand-new pair of rally wheels with beauty rings and Cooper Cobra raised white letter tires giving it a more muscle look. The factory set is included with the car and the set you see pictured could be included at an additional cost. The odometer reads 58,000 miles, and although it’s a 5-digit odometer, the milage is believed to be original and not have rolled over. Its very clear by the condition of the car, that the milage is accurate. We know the last owner of the car had the car since the 90’s and he bought it from the original owner. Both gentlemen clearly knew what they had and were excellent caretakers. The car has survived remarkable well with virtually no wear and tear that you’d typically see on a car this age. One of the best driving cars we have at the showroom, don’t miss this incredible Impala!
