1969 Ford Mustang Grande Coupe. Incredible restoration on this one with outstanding final results. This car has been owned by 3 owners in total, with the most recent having owned it since 1988. All the restoration work was completed in the early 2000’s, but it’s been so well looked after since, you’d swear it was done just last summer. Painted by Fabians autobody in its factory correct Black Jade (dark green) after being disassembled, there were only two tiny little corrosion spots to be repaired on the back fenders. Thanks to the car never having been winter driven, the mustang retains all it’s original factory sheet metal including fenders and floors. The only exception to factory equipment is the Magnum 500 wheels which are new with Cooper Cobra white letter tires. The information provided indicates that the car originated in Calgary when new and was treated as a collector car right from the start, having changed hands from one brother to the next, and then to the current owner in ’88. The paint is incredible and the chrome is fantastic. Turns out the front and rear bumpers are factory originals that have never been re-chromed! During the restoration, the numbers matching 302 2-bbl was removed and rebuilt by Precise Engine builders in Saskatoon. A slightly improved Cam was added, and Headers were also installed to push hp numbers around 300 hp.  The numbers matching 3 speed auto was rebuilt at Hub Automatic. Everything was repainted, resealed and reinstalled. All the suspension components, brakes were all renewed at the same time. More recently all the fluids were serviced. The most incredible part of the car is the interior. From top to bottom and back to front it’s factory original! Seats, carpets, headliner, door panels all were just the way it left the Ford factory! Being a Grande trim level, it’s also equipped with the deluxe interior, vinyl/cloth buckets, center console with shifter, wood grain interior, wood grain steering wheel and chrono style clock in front of the passenger. The Am radio works as it should, in fact everything is in complete working order. The car starts and runs flawlessly with lots of work in the shakedown process working out all the bugs along the way. There’s power steering and power brakes and the work under the hood is just as detailed as the rest of the car. A factory correct new trunk mat is on the way to complete the trunk area. A new gas tank was installed during renos along with a new windshield. The odometer shows 67,000 miles and is believed to be true milage on the car.
