1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 in Olympic Gold. Numbers matching high revving 302 and the correct Muncie 4-speed. We expect the transmission and rear diff are also numbers matching, but we have not yet confirmed that. Power disc brakes, but no horsepower stealing power steering on this one! The tachometer winds out to a 6,000 RMP redline – very high for the era thanks to the oversquare design of the engine with shorter piston strokes, allowing faster revolutions without damage. Solid lifter cam, high flow heads and heavy-duty internals also contributed to the high red line. Chevrolet said the car made 290 hp, but other sources say the actual numbers are much higher. 0-60 mph was 7.4 seconds. For the day, that was quick!  Extremely beautiful restoration with paint that's as smooth as glass and stripes buried so far under the clear you can’t even feel them. All chrome, trim, emblems and mouldings are either replaced or like new. The vinyl top is also new and flawless. Very high attention to detail with the correct hoses and clamps under the hood and the engine bay is clean as a whistle. The correct battery cover has been installed, and the hood liner is new also. Even the rad support sticker and air cleaner sticker are exactly where they should be. The interior is also just as nice with black vinyl buckets and matching rear seat, console with shifter, perfect headliner, speedo and tach, and am push button radio. Auxiliary gauges featured in the console display voltage, temp, fuel and oil pressure. Not a hair out of place on this one, its like stepping into a brand-new Z/28! The trunk is just as nice as the rest with the correct jacking stickers, spackle finish, trunk mat, tire iron, jack and vintage spare tire! The bottom side of the car was also restored to factory spec. 81,000 miles on the odometer, which is believed to be accurate, but with a restoration and only 5 digits on the odometer, true milage can’t be proven. An up-close look at the car is as good as the pictures show, if not better! Has been owned by a serious car collector and well worth any collection. No expense spared with the work done on this car.
